5G Baseband Unit
NDT-1011 5G Baseband Unit consists of a Central Unit (CU) and a Distributed Unit (DU). The package comprises software and a Hi-PHY PCIe accelerator card, which runs on COTS server hardware and operating system.
It provides O-RAN-defined CU and DU functions and operates as a 3GPP R15 baseband processing unit supporting 5G New Radio (NR) Sub-6 and Standalone (SA) structure. Integrated CU and DU simplify deployment and architecture for 5G private network applications.
